Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to the 34th ESVN-ECVN Symposium that will be hosted on the 23rd and 24th of September 2022 at the Palma Convention Centre in the beautiful city of Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain).
The local organising committee is excited to welcome you in this spectacular island, where will be combining scientific knowledge, historical culture and great opportunities to enjoy and relax with astonishing landscapes (from the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea) and amazing food.
This year topic is “Spinal cord injury, taking steps forward”. The scientific programme includes human and veterinary keynote speakers with the aim of providing comparative medicine and most up to date research.
The Residents’ day will be held the day prior to the Symposium (22nd of September 2022) in the Es Baluard Museum, also located in city of Palma de Mallorca and will cover the important topic of scientific writing and publishing. Improving the knowledge on statistical analysis, digital literacy and scientific writing skills will support the resident to perform, present and publish original research projects.
This is a great opportunity for all of us to meet again face to face, to keep our “neurofamily” together and welcome new members. The welcome cocktail will be our first social event to interact and meet you all again at the outstanding terrace (Es Baluard Restaurant & Lounge) where you will be seeing the entire harbour. The Gala Dinner will be in hosted at Son Termes, a rural property with a great restaurant located just ten minutes from Palma by bus. Son Termes is located in the Serra de Tramuntana, is one of the most emblematic properties, whose origin dates back to the XIII century with panoramic views of the entire Bay of Palma.
Sanitary measurements will be implemented according to the current Spanish government rules at the time for COVID-19 to ensure the safety of the attendees.
It is a great pleasure to invite you all to the 34th ESVN-ECVN annual Symposium,
